Ghost Letter

A torn page, ripped down the middle

Empty and barren wasteland

Invisible words fill the lines

Placed perfectly where I planned

A long awaited confession

Broken down into three painful words

Written across the edge

Of a letter that was never sent

On a sharpened pencils ledge

A broken promise hangs

Waiting now for what seems like years

All that is left behind

Old remnants of the letter

That was written to you, my darling
