Tool the Not-SO-Great Wingman

“Oh I see. Well then Tool, it is very nice to meet you.” Her small hand was held out for him and Tool eagerly took it and gave her a wink.

“It is very nice to meet you too. I must say, you are very pretty.” Lucifer jabbed Tool’s side with his elbow.

“Dude, what was that for?”

“You know what.”

Tool cleared his throat, embarrassed by being called out. “Anyways, we don’t do concerts or anything, but sometimes we let people come to practice and watch. We play at Lucifer’s apartment. His building is pretty empty an anyone around is typically drunk to notice the noise. You should come sometime. It would be nice for Lucifer.”

“Nice for Lucifer? What do you mean?” Marietta looked at the annoyed look on Lucifer’s ace. He knew where Tool was going with and it was clearly going to annoy him.

“Oh, it’s just that Lucifer is not very sociable. In fact, the only time people watch, they’re people I invite, or one of the other guys invite.”
Lucifer jabbed him again, harder this time, forcing Tool to cough at the sudden lack of oxygen.

“I’m just telling the truth. You need to talk to someone outside the band.”

“That’s none of your concern Tool.”

Marietta looked at both of them and laughed uncomfortably. She looked over Tool, taking in his peculiar dress. He wore cloths similar to the ones that Lucifer wore. Black torn extra tight jeans showed how skinny he was. A black and blue shirt was loose against his skin.

The look wasn’t as good as it was on Lucifer. Tool wasn’t as well built as Lucifer. Tool’s long fire red hair was hanging in his face, covering his right eye.

He would be handsome, but the metal in his lip isn’t very attractive. Thank goodness Lucifer doesn’t have one.

The guys were still arguing back and forth and Marietta had lost track of what the topic was. It was funny, the way they kept getting more and more angry the less sense they made. Eventually Marietta burst out laughing, stopping the two boys.

Lucifer turned, the annoyed look on his face was grim. “What are you laughing about?”

“Oh nothing. You two are just funny to watch.”

The boys looked at each other, unsure what she was talking about. Marietta giggled to herself and let her eyes fall on Lucifer.

Maybe staying here won’t be so bad after all.
